A New Adventure!

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

Traveling is in my blood. I have a passion for exploring the unknown where adventure and suspense await. Well, maybe not the suspense part, but definitely the adventure. If anyone is to blame for my adventure streak, it should probably be my parents. They are the ones who first let me travel out of the county when I was 13 years old to Quebec and Montreal, Canada on a school trip. After 5 days of traveling, 7 rolls of film, and a diary filled with information, I was hooked.  The rest as they say, is history. Twenty-two counties and many journals later I am once again ready to start a new adventure.
I have been accepted to study finance at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Dublin, Ireland! You might say I am just a little bit excited. Okay, I lied! I am soooooooooooo excited! As an undergraduate student I studied in Limerick, Ireland for a year where I took classes in Irish history, culture, and language along with a few business classes. For graduate school I decided to travel to Ireland once again, this time to earn a master's degree. In comparison to Limerick, Dublin is 20 times larger with over a million people. I have never lived in a big city so this will definitely be a new experience for me.
I have decided to take you along with me on my BIG adventure this time around. I will be posting as often as possible and putting up pictures of things I am seeing and doing. My next big task to complete is packing. I have 23 days to decide how I will fit all my belongings for one year into two suitcases. Any suggestions?

P.S. As my mother and father will tell you, I am horrible with spelling and grammar. With that said, please excuse any mistakes you might find with this post and with future posts.

Love Always,
Amanda
